It goes without saying that Dumb Songs For Smart People is a must have for any fan of underground pop punk. This is one of the genre defining releases from the late 90s/very early 2000s that went on to influence hundreds if not thousands of bands. It was during the 90s that "underground pop punk" was in its golden age and a lot of people were into Lookout Records or Mutant Pop. If you were one of the smart ones, you liked both and as far as mutant pop goes, it's in our not so humble opinion that Egghead. or After School Special was their greatest release.

Egghead. Is truly one of NYs finest and we are beyond stoked to be a part of this reissue. The album was original released as a CD only compilation in 1999. The album is back in print for the first time since then on vinyl for the very first time. We teamed up with the legendary Dead Broke Rekerds to release it on 2 different colors of vinyl. Dead Broke has Red vinyl and we have white vinyl. Each label decided to trade 20 copies so both labels have both colors so that'll help you collector nerds out with some shipping costs.
